Welcome to WagonDrift

WagonDrift Game Lodge is located in the malaria free Dinokeng area of Gauteng, South Africa, within 30 minutes drive of Cullinan and Pretoria, and approximately 100 km (just over an hours drive) from OR Tambo (Johannesburg) International Airport and Sandton.

 

The game farm is home to a wide variety of wildlife and accommodates a maximum of 34 guests; 18  in catered and self-catered individual luxury chalets and family cottages adjacent to the main lodge facilities, and another 16 at a nearby bush camp overlooking a valley where the game often graze during the afternoon.

This is the African bushveld  - unpolluted by city noise or lights; only the sounds of nature from dawn to dusk; and then the silence of the night as the milky way lights our path home.

Guests are free to walk along the well marked game trails across the 250 hectares of bushveld to view the resident wildlife, from the very small — dung beetles, bush-babies, and the elusive duiker, to the larger impala, blesbuck, wildebeest, red hartebeest, kudu, waterbuck, & zebra, which call this home.

 

We are proud of the fact that we have been able to incorporate WagonDrift into this beautiful environment, as a sanctuary for both game and guests, and that both can co-exist in peace and tranquility.
