Our lodge is hidden away in dense bush and comprises a central facility with 7 separate thatched chalets arranged in a semi-circle on the west side. Located in and around the central lodge building is the lounge with fireplace and DSTV, the dining room, bar, library, deck and swimming pool. Reception, as well as convenient Ladies and Gents cloakrooms are also found here. |

Meals are sumptuous affairs, mainly traditional South African fare and are served at one of three venues depending on weather conditions. Breakfast is usually served on the deck while you listen to the sounds of the bush awakening, while dinner is enjoyed either in the dining room or around a roaring fire in the Boma adjacent to the Lodge.
On special occasions we head off into the bush to sample bush cuisine at a traditional bush braai (barbeque).
For the more romantic, a special candlelit dinner can be arranged in the hide. |
